Star Wars Samurai Boba Fett Meisho Movie Realization Action Figure

Star Wars Boba Fett Meisho Movie Realization Action Figure

  • Boba Fett has been re-imagined as a feudal Japanese Ronin Samurai!
  • Featuring stunning stylization, Boba Fett includes ninja-style katana and sheath and numerous ninja-style blade accessories
  • Comes with characteristic removable backpack missile!
Everyone's favorite bounty hunter goes medieval! Boba Fett joins the Meisho Movie Realization series in a spectacular feudal Japan aesthetic, appropriately portrayed as a lordless "Ronin" Samurai via the sculpting talent of artists Takeyuki Takeya and Junichi Taniguchi. In addition to his EE-3 rifle portrayed as a flint-lock style blaster, this deluxe figure set features an extensive array of accessories - including characteristic backpack missile that can be removed / attached, plus the helmet-mounted scope is moveable! In addition to short ninja-style katana and sheath, numerous ninja-style blade accessories that can be subtly attached to shin and forearm areas are also included! Action figure measures approximately 6 3/4-inches tall.
We are huge fans of the Bandai Tamashii Nations Movie Realization Star Wars Samurai figures. We already have Darth Vader and the Stormtrooper in the collection and look forward to continuing this series. If you want a very unique, highly detailed Star Wars figure, we highly recommend this line.

WonderCon 2015: Hero Complex Gallery's Killer Star Wars Proto Fett Poster Created by Craig Drake

WonderCon 2015 Anaheim has come and gone with another amazing year. We have now attended each year it has been in Anaheim and it has grown in size and attendance each time. It was definitely a great one once again getting to hang around with some of our favorite creators and meeting new artists. One of those artists we would meet for the first time would so happen by accident. While walking the floor, one poster would catch my eye and have us in awe.

The poster we would come across would be of the Star Wars Proto Fett. What caught my eye on this poster is that I saw a few different variations on the colors and how amazing the lines were in each poster. The artist behind this beauty is Craig Drake who works for Lucasfilm and is the Senior Designer for StarWars.com. We had to take a closer looks and glad that we did. Hero Complex Gallery were hosting the event for this release of Craig Drake's Boba Fett and Proto Fett posters that are 24" x 36". They were in an extremely limited run with Boba Fett having a run of only 70 and Proto Fett had a run of 45. Now it got even better when I saw them pull out a few Proto Fett posters that had different backgrounds as seen above and these would be 1/1. Each one stood out and I knew I had to get one.

Craig Drake was actually wrapping up on his signing and we caught him just in time before leaving. We chose the gold background poster, which really brought out Proto Fett.

I do not usually buy too many posters, but this was one I could not resist. It is a thing of beauty that will go up once framed.

Craig Drake would sign it and as you see it is 1/1.

I did not really know Craig Drake until now owning this amazing poster. Once doing some research, I have definitely recognized his works and I will definitely continue to follow him. Awesome news in doing my research about him is seeing this official Star Wars Celebration 2015 Anaheim poster created by him.

This has brought my excitement up even more now! We will be at Star Wars Celebration and looking forward to seeing what Craig Drake will be bringing along.

StarWars.com had a great article about Craig Drake and his Star Wars Celebration posters, concept art, and even the Star Wars Celebration badges.

Hero Complex Gallery would not only have Craig Drake's Boba Fett and Proto Fett posters, but many other WonderCon exclusives prints and posters. Hero Complex Gallery will be hosting a Craig Drake Solo Show on May 22nd.

Thank you Craig Drake and Hero Complex Gallery for such an amazing poster! See you at Star Wars Celebration.

SDCC 2014 Star Wars Prototype Boba Fett Black Series Walgreens Exclusive

The original, original Boba Fett is back and will join Hasbro's popular 6-inch action figure line, the Black Series. Thanks to StarWars.com for having the exclusive first look!

While Boba Fett’s iconic Mandalorian armor has become one of the most famous designs in all of Star Wars, it started out with a very different color scheme. In early concept art by Ralph McQuarrie and Joe Johnston, seen in the accompanying gallery, the bounty hunter was depicted wearing sleek, all-white armor. On June 28, 1978, Star Wars sound designer Ben Burtt and The Empire Strikes Back assistant film editor Duwayne Dunham debuted the costume with a test video (also available below), detailing its weaponry and functionality; the colors would later be developed to what has become Fett’s definitive look, but it all began with this early version.
Hasbro’s figure is a tribute to this important piece of Star Wars history and design — look for it exclusively at Walgreens this fall, with preorders opening at San Diego Comic-Con!

Evel Fett "Red Star" Edition from Retro Outlaw and 3D Retro

3D Retro and Retro Outlaw teamed up to create a very impressive vinyl figure, Evel Fett. Evel Fett is a combination of the famous Star Wars Bounty Hunter Boba Fett and Evil Knievel. The original release of Evel Fett came out at San Diego Comic Con last year.

As pictured in the box, the original Evel Fett was Red, White and Blue. There was a very a rare Black and White version limited to only 50 pieces. Of course, there was a release of a "Boba Fett" edition with his famous Star Wars colors.

The packaging for the Evel Fett is amazing! We love the "Retro" style feel to it. I guess it would make sense being made by Retro Outlaw and 3D Retro Toys. The packaging alone serves as a great display piece from all around the box.

As stated above, there were a few versions of Evel Fett. We happen to have the Evel Fett "Red Star" edition, which is limited to only 100 pieces. We are huge Star Wars fans and grew up with the Original Trilogy and Kenner Star Wars figures. The figures back then had only a few points of articulation. The figures have improved to a few more points of articulation and greater detail. If you are expecting Evel Fett to be an action figure, you are not going to be getting that here since he does not have any articulation. He of course was not made to be one, but to be one heck of an awesome Collector's piece and conversation piece.

Overall, we love this figure and 3D Retro and Retro Outlaw came through to create an amazing piece in Evel Fett from the figure to the very impressive packaging. Star Wars and Evil Knievel fans get the best of both worlds in this vinyl figure.

Funko Star Wars Wacky Wobbler Wise Cracks Boba Fett (Boba FE.T.t) Custom

2013 is an amazing year for Star Wars fans in celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi. This past June 11th was also an anniversary for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial in celebrating 31 years. Angry Koala Gear's Matt Perez aka Obscure wanted to create something to celebrate both films, which we grew up to be two of our favorite movies of all time.

Obscure found the Funko Star Wars Wacky Wobbler Wise Cracks Boba Fett at his local Blockbuster and he liked Fett's pose with his arms crossed kind of like Angry Koala Gear's logo and to top it off unpainted. He had to buy it to paint the Boba Fett in his normal form.

You may notice that Obscure changed Boba Fett's name a tad to Boba FE.T.t. He had to remove the helmet so that he could paint it much easier, which gave him inspiration to add something special to the Wacky Wobbler. He thought about a character we grew up to love in the same time period as the Star Wars Trilogy and thought about E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Why not create a E.T. Mandalorian? E.T.'s race can be found in the Senate in The Phantom Menace and R2-D2 can be found in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, so it was only fitting for a mashup.

We love the mashup of E.T. and Boba Fett and Obscure has plans to get creative with future mashups. If you would like to see more of Obscure's works, just click on Obscure's Corner. You can also view his works on his Instagram @obscureakg or @angrykoalagear.
