“To me, Kate is an equal to Clint in terms of who the ‘star’ of the book is,” says writer Jeff Lemire in an interview with Marvel.com. “It’s equal billing. It will be as much Kate’s story as it is Clint’s. The threat they’ll be facing is very much something new. And it’s not strictly a big bombastic super-villain-y kind of thing. It’s something that hits them both on a much more personal level.”

“There is a real threat,” says series writer Gerry Duggan, in an interview with Marvel.com. “There’s a very important thumb drive that’s missing, containing details on the personal and family lives of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. When different organizations hear about this, it becomes a bit of a dog pile.”

“There’s an expectation, too, with a title like HAWKEYE VS. DEADPOOL, that there will be a confrontation between these two,” continues Duggan. “I think we make that happen in a smart way. It’s not the same old take on the misunderstanding that often sends two heroes into conflict. We have a twist on that.”

Long ago, champions emerged to fight the evil that plagued humanity. Champions that fought for salvation, for all that was good and just in the world. The Avengers are Assembling at Sideshow Collectibles

Sideshow Collectibles and Hot Toys have created an amazing collaboration of bringing some of the greatest 12" figures. Hot Toys brings their figures to life with great likeness in their characters. Marvel has been one of their licenses for a few years now and they will continue the Marvel line with The Avengers release this summer! 

Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles plans to release the team and have had a great start with Nick Fury, Hawkeye, and just this week, Captain America. 

Nick Fury was the first to join The Avengers movie figures. Hot Toys continues to impress us with the incredible likeness of the characters. If you were waiting for that Samuel Jackson collectible, this will probably be the one! 

 Hot Toys Hawkeye was the second to join The Avengers team. Authentic and detailed fully realized likeness of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye/Clint Barton in The Avengers movie. 

Hot Toys Captain America was just released for pre-order last week at Sideshow Collectibles and is the third member of The Avengers. The Avengers have nearly assembled and just in time for the May 4th release in theatres in the US. 

This is a teaser image of Thor, who will be the fourth release in The Avengers from Hot Toys. The details in the armor look awesome and we can not wait to see more pictures.

It first started with the Incredible Hulk, then came Iron Man, Thor and Captain America! Throughout these amazing Marvel Entertainment films many more characters were introduced from Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury. Years in the making to bring the team together and we are just a few months away from seeing the Avengers to finally Assemble. We have enjoyed watching each member shine in their own films and we will now see how well they can come together, which I am pretty sure we will see many differences and personality clashes and maybe some egos being crushed. 

 Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios The Avengers will kick off next Summer 2012 right on May 4th!
