STEAMPUNK Los Angeles 2013

I have the honor to be one of the featured artists at Steampunk Los Angeles tonight at the Vex Arts Center in Los Angeles.  I have 5 pieces in total, which will be up for sale at the show including 3 Funko Pop! customs, a 7" Hello Kitty vinyl, and a 9" Disney vinylmation, which is my very first collab with the amazing Deeten.  Deeten will also be at the show with 8 of his very own pieces.  The show has been put together and presented by Deadmundo, Sketch, and Steam Lab Evolutions.  The night is a great chance, not only to see some great art, but to see live music, tattooing, body painting, a fashion show, and to learn about the steam punk craze if you are not familiar with the genre.  If that isn't enough, The League of S.T.E.A.M. will be making a special appearance and comic book artist, Joe Benitez will be vending.  The show will open at 8 PM and will conclude at 12:30 AM. If you are in or around the area of Los Angeles, do not miss this show.  Hope to see you there!

Steampunk Los Angeles 2013

If you have attended any comic or pop culture conventions in recent years, then there is no ignoring the craze that is Steampunk.  As for those that have missed it, steampunk is a fusion of Victorian era/Wild West fashion, science fiction inspired gizmos, gadgets, and machinery, all of which are powered by steam.  The end result is simply put, awesomeness!  Artists/curators Sketch and Deadmundo have teamed up with Steam Lab Evolutions to present an awesome show, "Steampunk Los Angeles 2013."  The show will feature musical performances, live tattooing, live body painting, artwork from over 50 artists (including yours truly), and numerous vendors.

One piece of exciting news is that comic book artist, Joe Benitez has been added to the list of artists/vendors.  We are very excited to see some awesome Lady Mechanika artwork!  You can see more of Joe's work at his website www.joebenitez.com.

Below is the information you need to get to the show.  Come out and support the arts and have a good time!
