2015 Gentle Giant Premier Guild Membership Exclusives Including Star Wars Mini Busts

Commander Faie, a by the book, no nonsense clone, was the ideal soldier from the Kamino engineers who produced him. This was the cause of much aggravation to his Jedi General Quinlan Vos, who was anything but by the book.

The Commander Faie Mini Bust looks so amazing! It would be good enough to get one helmet, but to get an additional helmet adds to a must want. 

The role of Scout Trooper is one of the most coveted in the Galactic Empire’s military campaign to restore order to the galaxy. Operating almost autonomously in small squads on long range patrols, these troopers are a most unwelcome presence to the Rebellion and other maligned factions. Moving quickly on speeder bikes to outpace and flank their targets, Scout Troopers are known to first target enemy commanding officers with long range blaster rifles and then fall back to call in the heavy support.

Locke and Key Mini Busts Coming Soon from Skelton Crew Studio

The new year of 2015 is bringing some big news from the Skelton Crew Studio. We first announced that a Tony Chu Mini Bust is being created for the Chew fans and now Locke and Key fans will be very pleased to know that mini busts are coming to join the amazing "Keys". 

Here are protoype sketches for Kinsey and Bode designed by Locke and Key's Gabriel Rodriguez and Israel Skelton. There will be Bode prototype sketches coming very soon. Stay tuned! 

SDCC 2014 Gentle Giant Star Wars Jek Porkins Mini Bust Exclusive

Jek Tono Porkins was a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who, along with the other Bestines, was forced to abandon his homeworld when the Galactic Empire chose it as the site of a new military base. Seeking the opportunity to strike back at the Empire, Porkins joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic. After completing pilot training, he was assigned to Red Squadron and given the call sign Red Six. He fought heroically, but was killed in action over the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin.

Digitally sculpted by the master artisans at Gentle Giant Ltd., the SDCC 2014 Exclusive Jek Porkins Mini Bust features the cult-favorite pilot in his signature flight suit and helmet, wielding a Blaster. San Diego Comic Con 2013 Gentle Giant Star Wars McQuarrie C3PO Mini Bust Exclusive

 San Diego Comic Con 2013 is less than a month away and the exclusives news continues to roll in. Gentle Giant continues to amaze us with the great SDCC exclusives they have lined up and they added one more today! Star Wars fans should be pleased to know that there is another Ralph McQuarrie addition that can be added to their Star Wars McQuarrie mini busts with C-3PO. 

Ralph McQuarrie’s early designs of C-3PO are uniquely different from that of the final screen version. Based on original pre-production illustrations for Star Wars: A New Hope, this mini bust displays a fascinating look at McQuarrie’s conceptual development of the beloved protocol droid.

"It's A Trap!!!" 

Gentle Giant has released two amazing SDCC 2013 exclusives today for pre-order and they are going to be on our list of "must haves". The first as we mentioned was the Honey Trap Whisper Variant Statue and the second is an incredible Star Wars Admiral Ackbar mini bust. 

This is no ordinary Admiral Ackbar, but is based on the artwork by Steven Daily's "Magnitude" Admiral Ackbar. This mini bust stands at 8" tall and comes in a screen printed wooden box with a 4x6 limited edition lithograph print by Acme Archives. Limited edition of only 500 pieces. Each will come with a hand-numbered certificate of authenticity and bottom stamp.
