Aspen Comics Returns to Long Beach Comic and Horror Con

Aspen Comics is bringing a wide array of talent and an all-new exclusive to this weekend’s Long Beach Comic and Horror Con 2012. Aspen creators Frank Mastromauro, Peter Steigerwald, Vince Hernandez, Mark Roslan, J.T. Krul, Joe Benitez, Nei Ruffino, Ale Garza, Beth Sotelo, Lori Hanson, Jonathan Marks and more will be appearing at the Aspen Comics Booth #101 located at the entrance to the show floor.

The publisher will have a special Executive Assistant: Assassins #5 Long Beach Comic Con 2012 exclusive cover and print by Ale Garza and Peter Steigerwald, limited to only 300 copies for the issue, and 75 editions for the print. Both Garza and Steigerwald will be appearing at the Aspen Comics Booth to sign copies as well.

Long Beach Comic Expo Costumes

The Long Beach Comic Expo was yesterday and the Angry Koala Gear crew had the opportunity to attend once again! Last year we had a blast to not only attend, but to actually be part of The Guild Season 5 as extras. We were hoping for another round of being extras, but not this year. One of our favorite parts of attending a comic con of course is to take pictures of the costumes. We often run into familiar faces and many more times find that new, original costume. Here are a few costumes that caught our eyes at the event.
