Funko has just announced that they will be attending Star Wars Celebration Europe and will be bringing a few exclusives along! Funko partnered with Underground Toys to bring 4 exclusive Star Wars Pop! and they are terrific, especially for the Original Trilogy fans as us.

Funko Has Revealed New Additions to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

The Angry Koala Gear crew has been taking a break and not been able to share the news and updates, but we have come back at a great time! We still have been collecting, but just not sharing. Funko has come through for Aliens Day yesterday and today with big news for all the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory fans. We are huge fans and were very pleased to have Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompas in our collection, but will now have most of the other characters added with today's news as well. 

We were extremely pleased to learn that Funko would create a line to the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory film. We grew up huge fans and have watched the film hundreds of times. We did of course pick up Willy Wonka and Oompa Loompas and love them. Today's news from Funko will give us a few pieces to add to the Willy Wonka collection, especially with Charlie himself and Grandpa Joe.

We pretty much have stuck with Pop! Vinyl figures, but it looks like we will have to start picking up a couple of Dorbz with Willy Wonka and the Oompa Loompa. They look incredible! 

Good news for us and fellow Willy Wonka fans! The Pop! Vinyl and Dorbz will be available this July. Do we possibly foresee a few San Diego Comic Con Willy Wonka exclusives just in time for July?

Funko Introduces Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty Memberships

The day has finally come for Funko to announce their Star Wars membership boxes! We learned about this news of a future Star Wars membership coming similar to the Marvel Corps membership back in July during Funko Fundays. We were definitely excited when we heard the news since it involved our all time favorite, Star Wars. 

The Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty membership is will begin in November with one box coming every other month with a different Star Wars theme with the first being The Force Awakens. The price is right for $25 plus shipping. There are a few ways of ordering the membership. One can order it individually per month, called the Pirate Membership. The other option is by purchasing the Boss Membership, which is for a full year for $150. The cool thing about the Boss Membership is that it will include an exclusive themed collectible on the anniversary of the annual membership.

Nervisw3k Inner Child Vinyl Figure from Tenacious Toys

On February 28th at noon EST, Tenacious Toys will be releasing both the Tenacious Toys Exclusive Blue and the standard retailer red colorway of Nerviswr3k's first production vinyl toy: The Inner Child. Designed by Nerviswr3k and produced by NJ shop Suburban Vinyl, The Inner Child stands 4 inches tall and will sell for $45 each. These figures are dead ringers for Nerviswr3k's hand-sculpted style. Even the paint application is pretty damn close to what you'd see on one of his customs! There are 125 pieces produced of each color. Red is available at several vinyl toy shops but Tenacious Blue is only available at Tenacious Toys. You'll be able to pick up both of these pieces on our Nerviswr3k page.
