Anakin Skywalker was a great Jedi Knight who fought for the Republic before the Dark Times. His descent into darkness was brought on by the evil Darth Sidious who would go on to convert Skywalker over to the Dark Side. When that happened, Darth Sidious crowned himself Emperor and named Skywalker “Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith”. Sculpted by Gentle Giant’s master artisans, this Darth Vader statue recreates the scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back of Lord Vader bowing in devotion to his master, Emperor Palpatine. Each limited edition, hand-painted piece is cast in high quality polyresin with crisp details. This statue also comes individually numbered with a matching certificate of authenticity. Bat in the Sun's Batman vs. Darth Vader Super Power Beat Down on Machinima

We are huge fans of Bat in the Sun's Super Power Beat Down videos where they have created many epic battles between favorite characters. They have been able to mash many comic and movie characters together for incredible battles where the viewers can vote who may win. In their newest Super Power Beat Down, they have brought two of our favorite characters together with Batman vs. Darth Vader, which is can now be seen on MachinimaPrime on YouTube. 

Who do you think would win in this battle? We honestly love Batman in how intelligent and brilliant of a fighter he is. He has been able to outwit his enemies in many ways in his intelligence and incredible fighting styles, but Darth Vader would definitely bring a battle he has never faced. Batman has never dealt with the Force before. We would have to go with Darth Vader on this battle because of the Force, his Sith powers, and lightsaber, oh and because we are die hard Star Wars fans.

Star Wars Movie Realization - Samurai Darth Vader from Bandai Japan

A few months ago, Bandai Japan shared a concept figure of Samurai Darth Vader. It definitely created a buzz with how it looked and with us wondering when it would become available to order. At San Diego Comic Con, I would have to ask a Bandai staff when and if the Samurai Darth Vader would be made. He had mentioned that it was waiting on approval and that it may take about a month or so and it has definitely become a reality. 

Big Bad Toy Store now has the Bandai Japan Samurai Darth Vader available for pre-order. The figure stands 7" tall with 15 points of articulation. Samurai Darth Vader will have a Lightsaber hilt, fully extended Lightsaber, and interchangeable hands. The price is $109.99, which seems kind of pricey. It will be available for retail overseas for around $84, but to bring it to the states will have a higher price tag. The details in the Samurai Darth Vader look amazing! 

Full Sized Hot Wheels X Star Wars Darth Vader Car Will Be at San Diego Comic Con SDCC

As we get closer to San Diego Comic Con being here, the news continues to roll in and gets even bigger. Hot Wheels has just announced that a full sized Hot Wheels x Star Wars Darth Vader car will be at San Diego Comic Con! 

Because of this news, we will definitely be capturing a few pictures of the Hot Wheels x Star Wars Darth Vader car at San Diego Comic Con.

Sideshow Collectibles Continues to Amaze Us with Star Wars

Star Wars has just celebrated 35 years and I can never get tired of it. I love the movies, cartoons, art, comics, statues, and toys. One of the companies that continues to amaze me with their beautiful creations is Sideshow Collectibles from their Premium Format figures, polystone statues, dioramas, and12 inch figures. 

Star Wars fans should be very pleased this week with the 35th Anniversary and incredible sneak peeks from Sideshow Collectibles.

C-3PO and R2-D2 will finally be getting their very own Premium Format and together in one amazing statue. I love the light features in C-3PO's eyes, and especially the light features in R2-D2. The detail is truly awesome in the two most famous droids in Star Wars. 

The Sideshow Collectibles capture amazing action scenes from films in their diorama statues. This week a new sneak peek of their newest diorama was featured in the Hunt for the Jedi, with Shaak Ti vs. General Grievous.

The newest line to join the Sideshow Collectibles family is the Star Wars Mythos line that I am looking forward to very much. First, it was Darth Maul and now Boba Fett is the newest to join this sure to be very popular series.

And last but not least, which is my favorite and one I have been waiting for awhile now is the 1/6th scale Darth Vader with removable helmet figure. It is only a sneak peek, but it looks unbelievable and we definitely will be pre-ordering this one as soon as it becomes available.
