GameStop Celebrates May the 4th Star Wars Day in a Big Way

May the 4th Be With You!

This would be how I began my day in celebrating Star Wars Day this morning. I patiently waited in my car until GameStop would open their doors this morning. I was concerned that there would be others with the same idea in picking up their newest exclusives to be released on May the 4th. 

As you walk in the store of course, you cannot miss this especially if you are a Star Wars fan. This is the game we have been waiting for and we are excited for Battlefront to be out this November. 

Funko and GameStop have teamed up in a big way to release an exclusive wave, which includes Han Solo (Hoth), Chewbacca (Hoth), R2-B1, and Figrin D'An. 

We were fortunate to be there early because I only noticed one Figrin D'An on the shelf and a couple of Hoth Chewbacca. There were a few Hoth Han and R2-B1. From what I have read in reports today, many people have said Figrin D'An seems to be scarce. Time will tell. 

Han Solo (Hoth) is a great figure with Han wearing his Brown Coat. I hope I did not miss on checking if there happened to be Blue Coats out there. If Funko and GameStop were to release a Chase Blue Coat, it would be pretty awesome and I am sure it would cause a frenzy. I have a feeling we will be seeing the Blue Coat in the near future, maybe San Diego Comic Con. 

I am a huge fan of the Original Trilogy. Figrin D'An and the Cantina Band had to be created. Next up in the near future, Nalan Cheel will be joining the Cantina Band Members and hopefully the rest of the group. 

The Droids are coming! We now have R2-D2, R2-Q5, R2-R9, and now R2-B1. With San Diego Comic Con right around the corner, I can see a few more droids in the horizon. 

Last, but not least for the Funko GameStop Star Wars exclusive May the 4th wave, we have Chewbacca (Hoth). We can never get enough Chewbacca! 

Funko has done it again to create another amazing series for Star Wars fans. GameStop has joined in the fun and gives us another place for the hunt.
