Ok. Slap me on the hand. I am finally taking a moment away from
customizing and sculpting out some new designs for resin casts to write about
the awesome shows that have been going on over the past few months. First up, the custom Lolligag show, “Vive La
Lolligag!” which took place at Toy Art Gallery.
This show featured customs of the new vinyl toy, Lolligag.
“Lolligag lives in a carefree place of
imagination where fantasy, fun and fetching fashion are the sweetest things in
life. With a lollipop always in hand
revealing her hidden emotions, Lolligag spends her days with her imaginary
friend Moot in search of adventures both big and small.”
Over 40 artists contributed
their interpretations for the show and it was nothing short of awesome, which
is to be expected at any show held at Toy Art Gallery. Many of the pieces from this show are still
available at Toy Art Gallery’s online store, including mine (picture
below.)
