Hanging Out with Beefy & Co. and Missy M at WonderCon 2014

Attending Comic Cons is something the Angry Koala Gear has enjoyed for almost 20 years now. In this time, we have met many of our favorite artists, writers, toy makers, and creators. We have also been fortunate to call many of them friends. WonderCon has been one of the comic cons that we have added to our must shows to attend each year. 2014 would be just as great and seems to be growing each time since it has been at the Anaheim Convention Center. We had a chance to see many of our favorites and we enjoyed hanging out with our friends Beefy & Co. and Missy M throughout the weekend.

We met Beefy back in 2012 at WonderCon and it happened to be his first show. It would be the first time we would get a chance to see the beginning of his amazing Bad Bad Buddha figure. He has released many amazing colorways of Bad Bad Buddha and one of our favorites is his newest release in the Jade Bad Bad Buddha.

Bad Bad Buddha is just one of his amazing creations, but he has also created the Ghost Tribe X Warriors, his BeefyPoo line, and soon to be released Squibby.

Beefy has a terrific artist who has designed many of his own original characters along with a few familiar Marvel characters. With these designs, he created some awesome t-shirts. We definitely had to get in the act and buy his own character, Titan.

Beefy has been a terrific friend and we have been glad to see his growth in his works and what he believes in. In these last few years of knowing him, he has created many Art Custom Toy Shows that have invited some of the best artists in the industry. The Angry Koala Gear crew was fortunate in him inviting our own Matt Perez aka Obscure to do a few customs. During this time, we have been able to meet some of our favorite artist and along the way we would meet Missy M. Missy M was also at WonderCon and she brought a few of her amazing Designer Toys.

As usual, it was terrific seeing Beefy and Missy M at WonderCon and seeing their new creations. If you have not had a chance to see what Beefy & Co. has, you can visit his site at www.beefyco.com or follow him on Instagram @beefypoo.
