What an amazing weekend we have had and it is not finished yet with the premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead Season 3 later tonight. Angry Koala Gear are fans of Zombies and have been for a long time. Every chance we get, we always try to see each comic conventions gatherings of Zombies and Walkers for their Zombie Walks. Last night we were fortunate to attend the Tucson Zombie Walk and it was truly an awesome event filled with hundreds of Zombies surrounding us and thousands of people who gathered who wanted to see the walk.
The Tucson Zombie Walk was held downtown Tucson in front of the MLK Apartments parking lot across from the famous Hotel Congress and celebrated its 7th year. We had the opportunity to see hundreds of amazing Zombies who had original costumes and incredible make-up.
One of the great things about the Tucson Zombie Walk is that they raise funds and food for the Tucson Community Food Bank and the night is filled with great fun, which included a Costume Contest with great categories.
It was great to see individuals dressed up, but even more amazing to see families come together in on the fun!
You never know who you might find at a Zombie Walk, even Waldo was present along with Dr. Who.
The reason why everyone gathered, so the Tucson Zombie Walk would begin with thousands in attendance!
Overall, the Tucson Zombie Walk was an incredible event for a great cause. We loved it and enjoyed the activities that went on throughout the evening.
