The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey "Map of the Shire" Contest with Weta Workshop

J.R.R. Tolkien fans should be very pleased to know that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is just two months away from its release in theaters and we are getting excited! We are pleased to announce that we will have a contest to giveaway a Map of the Shire - Art Print thanks to Weta Workshop. 

Weta is thrilled to get an opportunity to work with Angry Koala Gear and give away an art print to a worthy contestant. The Map of the Shire is part of Weta's initial range of products from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that opens in December. Weta Workshop is part of the New Zealand moviemaking community and the same artists and craftspeople who work on the movies also create our collectibles, prop replicas and prints.

It doesn't get more authentic.

From Michel Delving in the West to Bucklebury in the East, from Greenfields in the North to Sackville in the South, Daniel Reeve's map plots all the familiar places in the four farthings of theShire. It shows the way to places like Tuckborough, Frogmorton, Brockenboring and Tooksbank. It helps you choose whether to cross the Brandywine on the bridge or by the Bucklebury Ferry.

All annotated in helpful fashion by one Bilbo Baggins of Hobbiton in the West Farthing.

The original prop for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was designed and drawn by Daniel Reeve of the 3 Foot 7 art department.

Weta's map of the Shire was made from a scan of the original map and printed in Middle-earth (New Zealand) on finest Italian Marina Conchiglia parchment paper.

The rules of the contest will be very simple and everyone is eligible for the contest. We have two questions with multiple parts that participants will have to answer correctly. Participants will just provide their answers, along with their first name and city and country where you live. There are two ways to enter the contest through our Twitter @angrykoalagear and Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/angrykoalagear.
All entries who answer correctly will be placed in a basket to choose a random winner. 

The contest begins today and will run through Wednesday, October 24th. 

Again, there are two questions with multiple parts to be answered. Those that answer correctly will automatically be qualified for the opportunity to win the Map of the Shire.

What are the names of the 3 trolls Bilbo and company encounter on their journey to the Misty mountains?

Question 2, 3 parts

Which 3 famous weapons are found by Gandalf and company after the ordeal with the trolls? To whom does each weapon go? Which of the weapons warn it’s bearer by glowing blue in the presence of goblins/orcs?
