Dark Horse Comics is celebrating 25 years in the comic industry this year. Dark Horse Comics is also setting a great milestone with 20 years of Star Wars comics. They first started with The Dark Empire in 1991 and have continued with incredible Star Wars series.
Next Wednesday, July 13th will bring us the start of another Star Wars series from Dark Horse Comics, Star Wars: Invasions - Revelations #1. We have had the opportunity to read the first issue and all I can say is it is amazing! Jedi Master Luke is back and must lead his Jedi Knights to defend against the Yuuzhan Vong invasion before they destroy and take over more planets. I grew up to watching Star Wars, especially the original trilogy and I have been a fan ever since. I will admit that I wish the original series would have continued in films, but Dark Horse Comics and books allow us to see the stories continue. This new series brings the originals to life and see the return of Luke Skywalker and who knows, maybe even a few more familiar characters.
As the invading Yuuzhan Vong penetrate deeper into the galaxy, the Jedi fight back!
But one Jedi in training has taken a different path: Finn Galfridian, under the guidance of the mysterious Master Dray, infiltrates Coruscant and discovers revelations about the leaders of the New Republic that could lead to disaster!
