Dark Horse - Dollhouse: Epitaphs #1

Dark Horse releases Dollhouse Epitaphs #1. For fans of the Dollhouse series from FOX, this comic is a must have. It allows us to dive further into the story of the how Rossum Corporation's mind wiping technology has impacted the world. Originally the technology was used at Dollhouses across the world. Quick side note for those unfamiliar with the series, a Dollhouse was a place that provided wealthy patrons with beautiful men and women, called 'dolls', that could perform any type of service requested. Dolls were imprinted with the skills or personalities the wealthy patrons requested. After the 'doll' has completed their task, their memory was wiped clean. Dollhouses were in all major cities.

Writers Andrew Chambliss, Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon show us the impact of the Rossum Corporation's Dollhouse technology after it has hit the masses. It turns people into mindless killers. A rogue 'doll', Alpha, is trying to lead a resistance against the Rossum Corporation and recruits a young boy Trevor to help.

The Dollhouse Epitaphs #1 is available Wednesday.

DOLLHOUSE: EPITAPHS #1 (PHIL NOTO REGULAR COVER)
The fight for free will starts now!

Alpha was the perfect product of Rossum Corporation's mind-altering technology, until he snapped, burdened by the dozens of personalities they'd downloaded into his brain. Now the technology has gone viral, turning the entire population into murderous automatons, and it's up to the psychotic Alpha and a small group of survivors to save mankind.

* Straight from the Dollhouse one-shot written by show writers Tancharoen and Whedon, this new series continues the tale of survivors taking up arms against Rossum.

* Fellow Dollhouse show writer Andrew Chambliss (CW's The Vampire Diaries) makes his comics debut, joining Tancharoen and Whedon

* Joss Whedon's Dollhouse continues only in comics!
