It is hard to believe that The Muppets have not had a theatrical film since 2009, The Muppets in Space. The Muppets last film was in 2005, a musical television film, The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. I remember growing up and watching Sesame Street and Jim Henson's The Muppets. I was amazed in watching the colorful, energetic funny puppets that always put a smile on my face. Jim Henson was an amazing man in creating some of the greatest puppets from the Muppets, to Labyrinth, and The Dark Crystal. Oh, how could I forget, there was at least one more show he had a huge part in, Fraggle Rock. Jim Henson did pass away in 1990, but his legacy lives on through the Walt Disney Company that bought the Muppets in 2004.
Well there is great news for Muppets fans! This Thanksgiving, we will see the return of Disney's The Muppets on the big screen, November 23rd. Here are a couple of great previews to the new film coming soon.
