I had the opportunity to read the first issue and it is a very unique story that has made me become curious to see what is going on with Alan Gates. First, in the book we see Alan has nothing to live for and that he can not remember his past. Second, he tries to save the day and gets shot in the head and in the chest. Finally, something very mysterious happens in the ER and even Alan needs an explanation. I would recommend checking out Boom! Studios, Malignant Man #1, on sale this Wednesday, April 20th. If you want a sci-fi thriller, this may be the story for you, especially since it is just beginning.
