First Printing Carbon Grey #1
If you are a fan of the steampunk genre, you may want to pick up Image Comics Carbon Grey #1 at your local comic shop. That is only if you are lucky enough to find the first printing which was released March 2nd. The first issue introduces the world of Mitteleuropa and we see the sure expertise of three sisters with great fighting skills. The artwork is amazing and created by Hoang Nguyen and his studio, Art House Concepts.
For generations, the Sisters Grey have protected and counseled the Kaiser, ruler of Mitteleuropa. As civilization spirals into its first truly global war, Giselle Grey stands accused of assassinating the man she was born to protect. Pursued by her sisters, including twin Mathilde, and hunted by the enemy, Giselle must unravel the prophecy of the Carbon Grey before history itself is rewritten.
I highly recommend Carbon Grey, especially if you are a fan of steampunk, but also because it has started off really great with action, and incredible artwork. Carbon Grey is a mini-series of three.
