Kyle Kirwan is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY - but all that is about to change. He’s buying an RV and hitting the road for a grass-roots style art tour on his way to his first showing at Designer Con in November. He’ll be casting new figures and releasing limited edition color ways of his popular Willo figure along the way - somehow. Out of an RV. The Willo sculpture is an 11" tall rotocast resin designer art toy designed and produced by Kyle. The first release on the tour is through Tenacious Toys with a blue GID version which will never be produced again.
Help Kyle and Sarah create art all across America by backing their Kickstarter: Dare to Dream, Dare to Pee - cheekily disguised as a campaign to fund their dog's proclivity for urinating in many various locations.
Only 6 Blue GID Willos will be made, and they will be offered at a price of $100 each beginning June 14th, 2015 at 8PM EST.
About the Mudcat Willo:
"Willo is a type of creature found throughout the world of Dor. They are found in a variety of colors from pale pink to black. There are many legends and superstitions surrounding the different types of Willos. For instance glimpsing an all black Willo means someone will die, but a pink Willo brings good luck! Willos are docile creatures ranging from five to six feet tall with curly fur and antlers. They live in every corner of Dor but are timid and shy and uncommonly seen."
