Director Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie) has been talking about wanting to do an Alien movie for the past few months. We have definitely enjoyed his films filled with great action and science fiction. He did share this picture of the Alien Queen a couple months ago and mentioned that he did not think it would happen. Well great news came today!
Neill Blomkamp and 20th Century Fox look to have locked a deal for a new Alien film according to his Instagram account. 20th Century Fox would also later repost this news, which makes it even greater news. We have been definitely waiting for the return of a new Alien film and I feel strongly that Neill Blomkamp will give it a great direction. It is still early, but could we get big news for the film at San Diego Comic Con?
