Star Wars: The Force Awakens Teaser Trailer and Screenshots

It is here Star Wars fans!!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer has been released and we got goosebumps immediately. As mentioned, this is just a teaser, so we got a small glimpse for 88 seconds of what is to come next December 2015. Who is ready to start lining up for Episode VII? 

We had to capture a few screenshots from the trailer! What do we know so far from the trailer, the Millennium Falcon returns, Tie Fighters, X-Wings, new droids, new characters, the return of the Sith with a very cool lightsaber, new Stormtroopers, the Desert, epic battles, John Williams' famous score, Lucasfilm, chills, thrills, and more!!

 

Being a die hard Star Wars fan from the beginning of the Original Trilogy in 1977, I can say this is going to be epic and I am looking forward to the great future of Star Wars with Disney. While many people may criticize this new birth (shall we say) with J.J. Abrams direction and the game change to Disney, I feel Star Wars returns in a big way.

We will definitely see you in theatres next December 2015! 

Bat in the Sun's Batman vs. Darth Vader Super Power Beat Down on Machinima

We are huge fans of Bat in the Sun's Super Power Beat Down videos where they have created many epic battles between favorite characters. They have been able to mash many comic and movie characters together for incredible battles where the viewers can vote who may win. In their newest Super Power Beat Down, they have brought two of our favorite characters together with Batman vs. Darth Vader, which is can now be seen on MachinimaPrime on YouTube. 

Who do you think would win in this battle? We honestly love Batman in how intelligent and brilliant of a fighter he is. He has been able to outwit his enemies in many ways in his intelligence and incredible fighting styles, but Darth Vader would definitely bring a battle he has never faced. Batman has never dealt with the Force before. We would have to go with Darth Vader on this battle because of the Force, his Sith powers, and lightsaber, oh and because we are die hard Star Wars fans. 

This video was truly amazing from Bat in the Sun once again! We are always looking forward to what battles are to come and love the interaction they bring to their viewers. We want to know what you think of this battle. Did it go the way you wanted it to go?

Lady Mechanika Returns to Comic Shops in February 2015

Lady Mechanika returns this February with a brand new Issue 4, the fourth chapter of “The Mystery of the Mechanical Corpse”. The series will continue to be written and drawn by Joe Benitez and colored by Peter Steigerwald, the original creative team.

Lady Mechanika debuted in 2010 and quickly became one of the best selling indie comic books, consistently selling out even with multiple printings. Lady Mechanika Issue 2 and Issue 3 were the #1 and #2 top selling small press comics, respectively, of 2011 according to Diamond sales charts. Publication of the series stopped after Issue 3 when publisher Aspen Comics and creator Joe Benitez decided to part ways.

The series will now be published by Benitez’s new publishing company, Benitez Productions. Benitez plans on producing several new Lady Mechanika books in the coming year:

“We want to have a new Lady Mechanika product on the shelves every month. The artwork for three issues of the next story arc is already completed and additional stories are in development. We hope that this will allow us to produce a monthly book without sacrificing quality. Quality remains our top priority.”

Lady Mechanika 4 will be available in comic book stores on February 18, 2015. In addition to Issue 4, Benitez Productions will also be producing two double-sized reprints collecting the previous four issues: Lady Mechanika 0-1 Collected Edition ships February 4^th and Lady Mechanika 2-3 Collected Edition ships Febrary 11^th. Lady Mechanika 5, the conclusion of the Mechanical Corpse story, is scheduled for release in March, with the second story arc, The Tablet of Destinies, debuting the following month in April.

Lady Mechanika is an action-adventure series set in Victorian England featuring a heroine with mechanical limbs of unknown origin, and her desperate search for the secrets to her past. Inspired by the popular steampunk genre, the series combines the elegance of the Victorian Era with more advanced science fiction technology.

Scott Snyder's Wytches #2 Gets Second Printing from Image Comics

The second issue of WYTCHES by Scott Snyder and Jock, one of the most buzzed about horror series of the year, has garnered rave reviews and left readers horror-stricken and hopelessly hooked. It is slated for a second printing in order to continue to haunt readers.
