Star Wars Farewell from Dark Horse

2014 will mark the end of an amazing run of some of the best in Stars Wars comics from Dark Horse. With a history of nearly 25 years, we have seen the creation of the Expanded Universe where Star Wars fans were introduced to fan favorite characters. I have been a Star Wars fan since the beginning with the release of Star Wars: A New Hope in 1977. Marvel of course would introduce the world with Star Wars comics, but Dark Horse would take it to a whole other level. Dark Horse began with the Dark Empire where we would see Luke and the Original Trilogy characters after Return of the Jedi. Nearly 25 years later, Dark Horse would give us a full circle of seeing George Lucas' original adaptation for his Star Wars story.

One of our favorite series would be Star Wars Legacy written by John Ostrander and the art by Jan Duursema. We would be introduced to some amazing characters such as Cade Skywalker, Darth Talon, Darth Krayt, Darth Nihl, and many more. 

We will definitely miss the Expanded Universe and Star Wars comics from Dark Horse.
