We had the opportunity to attend DesignerCon 2014, which was our second visit to this event that has is still only a few years old. It has grown in size in attendees, artists, and exhibitors each year with it doubling in size in the last couple of years. It is quickly becoming our favorite show that we will plan to attend annually. Growing up to comics and Star Wars made me a fan of many different genres in toys over the years. Designer Toys have grown on me over the last few years and have definitely been building up in the toy collection. Kaiju and soft vinyl toys have not always been on my list to collect, but as I have seen the newer creations from artists coming out, it has slowly caught my interest.
Paul Kaiju is one of the artists that at first I did not really follow in his creations, but those crazy colors and creatures have definitely been drawing more attention.
