Square Enix and Deep Silver Partner to Host SDCC Arcade

Square Enix, Inc. and Deep Silver, a division of Koch Media GmbH,have partnered to host a Deep Silver / Square Enix Arcade at the Whiskey Girl restaurant and bar during the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. Open to the public, fans will get an early look at the award nominated upcoming lineup from both publishers.

The Square Enix lineup for the Arcade includes the recently announced Lara Croft® and the Temple of Osiris™, the team-based multiplayer title Nosgoth™ and the latest mobile games from Square Enix Montreal: Hitman: Sniper™ and Hitman GO™. Deep Silver will showcase its latest titles, including Escape Dead Island®, Metro™ Redux and Sacred™ 3.

Attendees can also check out the recently announced KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX, THEATRHYTHM FINAL FANTASY CURTAIN CALL™ and Hitman GO at Booth #3829 between Lobby D and E in the San Diego Comic-Con Exhibit Hall.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics,  Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is the sequel to the critically-acclaimed  Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. In her new adventure, Lara Croft travels to Egypt and must join forces with rival treasure hunter Carter Bell and imprisoned gods Horus and Isis, to defeat the evil god Set. Featuring a four-player co-op story, players must work together to explore the temple, defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld, solve devious puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. All the while, players will compete for treasure, powerful artifacts, and ultimate bragging rights.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.5 ReMIX is a fully remastered HD compilation of KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX and KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep FINAL MIX. Both games will be available for the first time in North America for the PlayStation®3 system. Theatrical cut-scenes from KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded will also be included in the compilation. The game is a follow-up to last year’s KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX and will also lead into the highly anticipated KINGDOM HEARTS III.

Hitman GO is a turn-based strategy game where you will strategically navigate fixed spaces on a grid to avoid enemies, infiltrate well-guarded locations and take out your target on beautifully rendered diorama-style set pieces. You really have to think about each move and all the Hitman tools of the trade you would expect are included; disguises distractions, sniper rifles and even 47’s iconic Silverballers. The recently released Airport box update offers an array of added extras.  These include new gameplay mechanics, a new civilian mode, moving walkways, skipping turns as well as new enemies. The Airport box contains 15 new levels and will be unlockable through natural progression or a purchase of $0.99.
