Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Super Heroes is an action-adventure sandbox video game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It is a sequel to Disney Infinity and was announced on April 30, 2014 and unveiled at E3. The game is currently set to be released on September 23, 2014 in North America, for all game systems. The game will feature characters from both Marvel Entertainment and Disney properties. It was mentioned that most of the new characters are created for the Disney Infinity 2.0 only and will not be able to be played on the Disney Infinity 1.0 version, but the 1.0 version figures will be playable on the Disney Infinity 2.0.
There are many figures that will definitely be released once the starter pack launches from the Marvel Super Heroes and new Disney characters as well from the new and classic films. Here are some of the figures that are now available for pre-order.

In Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, players will use real-world interactive Marvel figures to activate original storylines (Play Sets) in the virtual game worlds of some of Marvel's most popular franchises, including The Avengers. In the Play Sets - penned by award-winning Marvel comic writer Brian Michael Bendis - players will be able to take on the role of more than 20 Marvel characters including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Hulk, and Hawkeye to battle enemies, complete challenging missions, solve puzzles and ultimately save the world from destruction.
There will be plenty of Marvel Super Heroes to be released during launch and throughout the year.
The characters will include:
Ultimate Spider-Man Playset Including Spider-Man and Nova
Other Marvel Super Heroes will include the Guardians of the Galaxy characters Rocket Racoon, Groot, Drax, and a Guardians of the Galaxy Playset that will hopefully include Gamora and Starlord. Stay tuned for more announcements of many more characters to be released.
