As part of THE WALKING DEAD's
10th Anniversary celebration at New York Comic Con, Robert Kirkman’s
Skybound imprint at Image Comics has partnered with Hyundai to curate a
special gallery exhibit. The exhibit will take place at Pillars 37 (517
West 37th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues), and the gallery will
be open to the public Thursday October 10th from 11am-7pm, Friday October 11th from 11am-4pm, and Saturday October 12th from 10am-5pm.
This gallery will showcase THE WALKING DEAD artwork,
famed illustrations, and the Veloster Zombie Survival Machine from San
Diego Comic-Con. Limited edition prints, exclusive to the gallery, will
be distributed to guests each day. The gallery will also host a private
screening of the world premiere of the “Hyundai Presents The Walking
Dead: A Decade of Dead” documentary. The documentary will then be
available for viewing exclusively on thewalkingdead.com.
Additionally, THE WALKING DEAD artist Charlie Adlard will be doing a special book signing for the limited edition slipcased version of his new book THE ART OF CHARLIE ADLARD at the gallery from 11am-12pm on Saturday 10/12.
There will be 150 copies of these limited edition art books available
for purchase at the gallery, on a first come, first served basis. The
books will cost $75 each.
