Dark Horse Comics Incredible Signings and Exclusives at WonderCon Anaheim 2013

It has been a week since WonderCon Anaheim 2013 and we miss it a great deal. For the second year, WonderCon was in Anaheim and it was another great year and even bigger and better. Dark Horse Comics would be a great reason why it was terrific. We pretty much had to hang out all weekend long at their booth for the great signings, exlusives, and of course the Star Wars comics panel.

We made sure to make Dark Horse one of our first stops in WonderCon, especially for the exclusive Star Wars Legacy II #1. We finally had the opportunity to meet Dark Horse Comics Aub Driver who is a great guy who has helped us in the press releases and interview opportunities.

Star Wars fans were definitely looking forward to picking up Dark Horse Comics newest series Star Wars: Legacy Volume II #1 exclusive WonderCon cover. As we lined up for excitement to pick up the exclusive, we learned that we would be able to attend the signing with artist/writer Gabriel Hardman and writer Corrina Bechko.

During the signing we also received a special print of the Star Wars: Legacy Volume II #1 regular cover.

Star Wars would definitely be in effect all weekend with Dark Horse Comics. We were fortunate to also meet Randy Stradley, writer of Star Wars: Dark Times series.

There was also a signing for the new Star Wars series with artist Carlos D'Anda and colorist Gabe Eltaeb, but we could not make that signing.

The signings did not stop there at Dark Horse Comics with just Star Wars, but we also had the opportunity to attend the Avatar: The Last Airbender signing with writer Gene Yang.

We also met the writer of Dark Horse Comics Captain Midnight, Josh Williamson. Captain Midnight was featured in Dark Horse Presents #18 and will soon have a series this June 2013.

The last of the incredible Dark Horse Comics signings we were able to attend was The Last of Us where we met the Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann. Neil Druckmann is not only the lead director for The Last of Us, but he also was lead designer for Uncharted. Dark Horse Comics The Last of Us: American Dreams was just released in stores this past Wednesday and it is terrific.

We just want to thank Dark Horse Comics for providing us a great weekend at WonderCon with great signings and exclusives. We did attend the Star Wars panel that we will be sharing soon. Amazing news for Star Wars fans!
