Sideshow Collectibles has done it again by capturing the living embodiment of evil in such jaw-dropping detail. When I saw the first pics last year, I was in complete awe! I just received my statue and it felt like Christmas all over again. Sideshow's great attention to detail and precision is legendary and to be honest with you, this is my first purchase at Sideshow. They really listen to the pop culture fans and give them realistic and true to the character hand crafted products. You get what you pay for and so much more! Darth Maul comes packaged safely in an awesomely labeled Sideshow shipping box. When you open that, you will fall in love with the Mythos packaging. The artwork by Chris Slane on the box is over the top and down right scary. Sideshow is so proud of their professional workmanship, they include a certificate of authenticity in a handsomely designed envelope. On one side is the certificate and the opposite side is Chris Slane's beautiful talent. The statue is secured in its custom made foam padding. It comes with 2 right hands (1st is an open hand gesture and the 2nd holds the weapon of the enemy), 1 left hand holding the double bladed lightsaber hilt, 2 different heads, 2 removable red saber blades, 1 base and Maul's body from the torso to his feet. I am extremely happy with this purchase, and you will too! What also makes me happy is that Sideshow makes a certain amount of pieces so that they keep their value. In this case, there were 2500 pieces made and I received #22!! Anyway, here are my pics. ENJOY...
