AMC's The Walking Dead Season 3 Has Begun

Even though we will be waiting until October for the premiere of Season 3 of AMC's The Walking Dead, I can say that I was thrilled to hear that production has begun today! It has been tough to get my Walking Dead fix, but reading the comic series keeps me at ease. Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment's The Walking Dead #97 will be in stores this Wednesday, May 9th and it is the beginning of a new story arc, Something to Fear

We have to get back to the television series though! Robert Kirkman, the creator and executive producer behind our favorite series on television today was on set and gives us a little of what to anticipate in Season 3. Where Season 2 left off with the mysterious person with a Samurai sword pulling two zombies at her side, we will learn who Michonne is and where her weapon may have originated.

The hooded stranger definitely arrives in time to save Andrea and maybe a few more lives, especially in the next season. We learn a little of what Rick and the others will do when they see the Prison. Will it be a place of great shelter? Can they be safe here? Who is the Governor and how much of a threat will he be to Rick?

Robert Kirkman provides us with a few great answers of what we needed to know of what may come in the third season of AMC's The Walking Dead in a great interview, which can be found below:

What are your thoughts? Are you as excited as we are for the return of The Walking Dead this October?
