New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Pictures and MGM have announced the official titles and release dates for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit. Peter Jackson has been filming for the last few months now, and the list of actors returning to Middle-earth including Orlando Bloom, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Elijah Wood, Andy Serkis, Ian Holm, Ian McKellan, and many more. Peter Jackson brought us the best a director can in The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and he will continue to do so to bring J.R.R Tolkien's masterpiece to life once more, The Hobbit.
We were very pleased to hear that Peter Jackson would return to do The Hobbit, but as an added bonus in two parts. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is to be released December 14, 2012. The Hobbit: There and Back Again will be released on December 13, 2013. We are very excited as all Lord of the Rings fans are to hear this great news.
We will continue to follow the progress of the filming, and we are really looking forward to seeing what surprises Peter Jackson may have for us.
