Sideshow Collectibles: Lord of the Rings Exclusive Gimli Statue

The Angry Koala Gear crew is very excited about the great news we have heard this week about The Hobbit just starting production this week and it will be directed by Peter Jackson. We are huge fans of the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and we have been fortunate enough to collect great action figures, miniature helmets, and statues.

One of the companies that created some the best lines of collectibles for the Lord of the Rings franchise is definitely Sideshow Collectibles.
If you were fortunate enough to attend the San Diego Comic Con during the years of release of the Trilogy, you would definitely remember the greatest displays of any line. Sideshow Collectibles is known for their incredibly detailed Premium Format Statues, 12-inch figures, Polystone Statues, Busts, and much more.

In a new release today, Sideshow Collectibles has given us great pictures to their new release of the Exclusive Gimli Statue. Talk about perfect timing to tie into the announcement of production to The Hobbit.

The Exclusive Gimli Statue will be available for Pre-Order through the Sideshow Newsletter on Thursday, March 24th, which is typically published between 2PM and 3PM (Pacific Time). For those of you who can’t wait to see the full reveal of this The Lord of the Rings collectible, we’re posting the product gallery and info a bit early (see below).
