Phoenix Comicon is proud to announce that actor Wil Wheaton will be attending Comicon 2013.
“We are very excited to welcome back Wil Wheaton to Phoenix Comicon for the sixth time,” says Marketing Director Jillian Squires. “Each time is better than the last.”
Wil Wheaton is an American actor best known for his work on the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation from 1987 to 1990. He played popular character Wesley Crusher. Lately, Wheaton has had a recurring role as a fictionalized version of himself on the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.
Phoenix Comicon is the signature pop culture experience of the southwest. Comicon is presenting guests and programming for hobbyists by attracting the top segments of the comics, anime, sci-fi, film, tv, and gaming industries. Entering its eleventh year, Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 40,000 attendees to its May 23-26, 2013 convention held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency in Downtown Phoenix.
