Los Angeles has been looking forward to hosting a comic and pop culture convention for a long time now. There have been many, but they have never been as large and successful as the First Annual Comikaze Expo was last year. What do people look for in a comic con? Comics, toys, movies, art, panels, costumes, and FUN!! Well, Comikaze Expo definitely had all of the above and with over 35,000 attendees, it is probably safe to say it was quite successful for its first run. We provided some highlights to last years event in our Wrapup!
We knew that Comikaze Expo would now become our must to attend in comic conventions! Well, with the big announcement this week, we can definitely say it will always be at our musts with Stan Lee at the helm. Yes, you heard it right if you have not heard the news, it is now Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo! The masterminds of the Comikaze Expo are still behind this amazing convention, founders Regina Carpinelli and her brothers Fabiano and Mario Carpinelli.
With plans of doubling the size of last years event, we can say it is going to be truly incredible. The line up of guests is increasing daily and we hope to see more classic reunions from casts of television shows we grew up to.
Tickets are now available to Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo and I can say that for the size and excitement that this event will hold this year, the price is definitely right! $12 for a Saturday or Sunday pass?? Who would pass this up for an all day event for the same price of a movie ticket?
