Composers of popular television theme songs will discuss their writing process and influences to their craft. Two-time, Emmy-winning, Charles Fox ("The New Adventures of Wonder Woman", "Love Boat", "Happy Days"), Oscar/Grammy/Emmy-winners Wendy Melvoin & Lisa Coleman ("Carnivale", "Heroes") and Jeremy Zuckerman & Benjamin Wynn ("Avatar the Last Airbender: The Legend of Korra") will discuss their contributions to TV Theme Music and the rapid decline of the television theme intro. Attendees will get to preview a select clip from the new series "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra".
Sounds like a fun panel! Who did not love the theme to Wonder Woman and Happy Days? I can hear both of those songs right now in my head. Another song that I remember very well is the Heroes theme song because it was one of my favorite series on television. I wish this series would make a comeback someday.
