Today was Super Heroine Day at the Tucson Comic Book shop Heroes and Villains. Noel Neill, the original actress to portray Lois Lane, was on hand to start the festivities. Festivities included Noel Neill signing autographs and taking pictures. Fans were able to select one of four pictures, have them personalized and autographed by Noel Neill.
Ms. Neill was so polite and down to earth. When we asked what her favorite memory from the Superman series was she said visiting schools and going to events and meeting fans.
The Tucson chapter of the Sahuaro Girl Scout Council also presented Ms. Neill with an Honorary Girl Scout membership in recognition for her efforts to save the world. Supergirl from Justice League Arizona was also present for pictures during today's festivities.
The last event at today's festivities included a drawing for an autographed copy of the Supergirl comic book script signed by the author Kelly Sue Deconnick and original artwork from the Supergirl comic book by the illustrator, Chris Cross.
This event was great for fans young and young at heart. Thanks to Heroes and Villians for hosting this awesome event.
