Join the fun tonight for a very big event that will be held at 8:35pm from a few cities in the Southwest, which includes Phoenix, San Antonio, El Paso, Albuquerque, and of course our very own city Tucson.
Warner Bros. Pictures calls upon you to cover a powerful joining of forces throughout the Southwest in celebration of the June 17th theatrical release and big-screen debut of the popular superhero, “Green Lantern.” On Friday, June 10th, residents of Albuquerque, El Paso, McAllen, Phoenix, San Antonio and Tucson will join forces in the name of intergalactic order to become members of the GREEN LANTERN Corps.
Upon dusk..., local Tucson recruits will gather at Pima County Courthouse to illuminate the Southwestern night skies in a blaze of green by the light of green luminarias, and will be inducted into the Corps as they recite the GREEN LANTERN Oath in unison:
“IN BRIGHTEST DAY, IN BLACKEST NIGHT
NO EVIL SHALL ESCAPE MY SIGHT
LET THOSE WHO WORSHIP EVIL'S MIGHT
BEWARE MY POWER, GREEN LANTERN'S LIGHT!”
WHAT: Recite the GREEN LANTERN Oath to join an elite group of warriors, the GREEN LANTERN
Corps. The first 150 people who swear to protect peace and justice in the universe will
receive an all-powerful limited edition GREEN LANTERN ring as well as an official t-shirt from the film. Green luminarias will be distributed to each Corps member.
WHO: Anyone with the will to protect the universe from evil!

Please arrive by 8:00PM. All recruits will recite the GREEN LANTERN Oath at precisely 8:35PM.
